3Eligibility, Verification and Access
Restricted Users
Restricted features are intended for verified law-enforcement officers, government/cyber investigation personnel and authorised investigation professionals.
Verification Controls
Registration and access may require email OTP verification, government email checks, profile details, rank/designation, posting details, profile photo, police ID/proof images where enabled, admin review and other checks.
Access Decisions
Investigation Camp may approve, deny, suspend, limit or revoke access where verification fails, risk is detected, misuse is suspected or legal/security compliance requires it.
- Users must provide accurate, current and verifiable information.
- False identity, impersonation, misleading credentials, use of another person's account or bypass of verification is a material breach of these Terms.
4Account Security and User Responsibility
- Users are responsible for credentials, OTPs, devices, browser sessions and any activity under their accounts.
- Accounts must not be shared with unauthorised persons, accused persons, suspects, private agents, media, vendors or members of the public unless expressly permitted and lawfully authorised.
- Users must promptly report unauthorised access, credential compromise, suspicious activity, incorrect verification or data-security concerns to support@investigationcamp.in.
- The Platform may maintain security logs including user ID, IP address, user-agent, session identifiers, timestamps, actions, module access and related audit details.
5Authorised Use
- The Platform may be used only for lawful, professional, training, investigation-support, cyber-awareness, data-structuring, analysis, documentation, lookup or administrative purposes.
- Every search, upload, link, analysis, export, post, report or communication must be supported by a lawful purpose and appropriate professional authority.
- Users must protect confidentiality of case records, victim information, suspect information, telecom/banking data, government documents, operational details and personal information.

6Prohibited Use
Using the Platform outside lawful, authorised and professional purposes may result in account suspension, termination, evidence preservation, reporting to competent authorities and legal action.
- Do not use the Platform for illegal surveillance, stalking, personal vendetta, political targeting, harassment, extortion, doxxing, unauthorised profiling, public shaming or non-official purposes.
- Do not upload malware, exploit code, unlawful content, unauthorised datasets, personal data without authority, obscene content, copyrighted material without permission or files intended to damage systems or users.

- Do not represent Platform output as final evidence, certified forensic findings, official government records or legal conclusions unless independently verified and processed under applicable evidence procedures.
7Tool Outputs, Accuracy and Legal Reliance
- Tools assist with analysis, formatting, visualisation, lookup, parsing, templates and reporting. They may contain limitations, parser errors, stale datasets, browser restrictions or third-party API dependencies.
- Users must independently verify outputs before using them in FIRs, case diaries, notices, court filings, prosecution briefs, departmental communications or evidence files.
- Extraction accuracy depends on source format, file quality, data consistency, browser capability, parser limitations, language, encoding and selected settings.
- Investigation Camp does not guarantee uninterrupted service, universal file support, court admissibility, official certification, perfect accuracy or compatibility with every device/browser.
Result verification and analysis disclaimer: Investigation Camp makes reasonable efforts to design useful tools and provide reliable outputs, but all results are generated from user-provided data, available datasets, selected settings, parser logic, third-party services and technical conditions that may contain errors or limitations. Investigation Camp is not legally responsible for verifying any data, output, analysis, inference, lookup result, generated report, graph, template or recommendation. Users must independently verify every result through lawful, official and professional procedures before relying on it. Investigation Camp will not be liable for incorrect analysis, incomplete extraction, wrong matching, outdated data, misinterpretation, user error, source-data defects, third-party API error, browser limitation or any decision/action taken on the basis of Platform output.
8Processing Modes: Browser, Server and Third Parties
Browser-side tools
Some tools process files locally in the user's browser using memory, localStorage, IndexedDB, JavaScript libraries or WebAssembly.
Server-side features
Some features require authentication, database queries, email/OTP delivery, AI processing, maps, logs, security checks or administrative review.
Third-party APIs
Where external APIs are used, only the minimum necessary query values should be sent for the selected feature.
- Raw files should not leave the device in browser-side tools unless the user triggers an upload, share, export, cloud/API feature or support workflow.
- Server-side and third-party features may transmit selected data to Investigation Camp servers or service providers.
- Examples of third-party query values include IFSC, IP, coordinates, domain, selected text, email address for OTP or user-selected AI input.
- Users must not process highly sensitive case material unless they understand the tool's processing mode and have lawful authority.
9Community, Chat, Profiles and Success Stories
- Community posts, chats, comments, success stories, feedback and profile/networking features must be used professionally and respectfully.
- Do not post confidential case data, victim/suspect identities, personal documents, CDR/IPDR/bank data, operational locations, classified information or content prohibited by law or departmental rules.
- Investigation Camp may moderate, hide, edit, remove, archive or disclose content where required for safety, legal compliance, abuse handling, support or technical operation.
- Users are responsible for ensuring that public disclosure of success stories does not compromise investigations, prosecution, privacy, victim safety, departmental rules or court directions.
10Intellectual Property
Intellectual property notice: The Platform name, logo, layout, interface, code, scripts, styles, architecture, databases, datasets, documentation, templates, tool logic, prompts, workflows and methodologies are protected intellectual property of Investigation Camp or its licensors unless specifically marked otherwise.

- Attribution must not imply official certification unless expressly authorised.
11Contributions, Donations or Support
- If voluntary support, donation or contribution features are enabled, they are not fees for investigation services and do not create preferential access, ownership, official status, special authority or guaranteed service.
- Contributions must comply with applicable law, conduct rules, departmental permissions, tax/accounting requirements and platform transparency practices.
- Investigation Camp may refuse, refund, disable or suspend contribution features where legal, ethical, administrative or compliance concerns arise.
12Suspension, Termination and Enforcement
- Investigation Camp may suspend or terminate accounts, revoke verification, limit tools, block IPs, preserve logs, remove content or report misuse where violation, privacy risk, security threat, fraud, impersonation, illegal activity, IP infringement or misuse of investigation data is suspected.
- Serious misuse may be reported to appropriate authorities, departments, hosting providers, cyber cells, CERT/CSIRT bodies, courts or other competent entities as permitted or required by law.
- Termination does not affect obligations relating to confidentiality, intellectual property, legal compliance, audit logs, pending complaints, abuse investigations or liability for prior acts.
13Availability, Changes and Discontinuation
- The Platform may be changed, migrated, redesigned, suspended, limited or discontinued for maintenance, security, legal compliance, hosting restrictions, funding constraints, operational reasons or technical reasons.
- Investigation Camp does not guarantee permanent availability of any domain, tool, dataset, feature, export format, API integration, account or previous record.
